Partnership Helpline

Parents of young adolescents (12-16),   Parents of older teens/young adults (17-25),   Parents of adult children

This toll-free helpline is staffed by trained and caring, bilingual, master’s-level parent support specialists who are available nationally to help parents whose children are abusing drugs or alcohol take the next steps to provide support to their loved one.

How to Use

Call 1-855-DRUGFREE (1-855-378-4373)

Support is available Monday – Friday, 9 a.m. – midnight and weekends, noon – 5 p.m. EST

Who Should Use

Any parent whose child is using alcohol or drugs may find this resource helpful, including parents and family members of young adolescents (12-16); older teens/young adults (17-25); and parents of adult children.

Community Resource

This resource is available through the Partnership for Drug-Free Kids with insight from experienced therapists, parents, authors and professors.

The Partnership for Drug-Free Kids helps families understand the ever-changing drug landscape, learn how to effectively communicate with teens, and provides direct support to parents dealing with a child’s drug use.
